Community Involvement

 

On Friday, August 7, 2009 the Meier Agency held a blood drive at their Network Office location at 2682 W. Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park, Florida.  The Florida Blood Centers Little Red Bus arrived in the parking lot for representatives and staff members to give the "gift of life" from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.    This is a true example of living our mission statement which is to "positively impact people's lives". 

                                                                   Meier Agency Supports Local Blood Drive

  The staff members from the Meier Agency served a meal at the Ronald McDonald House across from the Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in Orlando.  The staff participated in the share-a-meal program which is where dinner is brought in for families that are housed at the Ronald McDonald facility while their child is being cared for at the hospital.   The families were very appreciative of the meal that was provided and at the same time the staff enjoyed helping people in our community.
